WELCOME TO LIVE FREE MYOFASCIAL RELEASE I AM SO GLAD YOU ARE HERE!
I am passionate about helping you live free from pain so you can feel better, sleep better, and move with ease—empowering you to live your life to the fullest.
I graduated in 2004 with a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and a B.S. in Health Sciences from Touro College in New York. Over the years, I have practiced as an OT across diverse clinical settings, including hospitals, clinics, schools, and home health. While those foundational experiences were invaluable, attending my very first John F. Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR) seminar fundamentally reshaped my clinical vision.
Early in my career, I experienced sudden, debilitating back pain. Traditional therapy and medications offered only temporary relief, and the constant discomfort began affecting my work, my personal well-being, and my relationships. Desperate for a lasting solution, I turned to John F. Barnes Myofascial Release.
After completing my treatment series, the results were life-changing. I was completely pain-free, my fear of "re-injuring" my back with the wrong move dissolved, and I regained a level of mobility, ease, and daily presence I hadn't felt in years. It became immediately clear that JFB MFR is far more than standard manual therapy—it is a gateway to authentic, whole-person healing.
Along my journey, i found that Bringing restorative pelvic floor therapy into this work WAS an essential piece of the puzzle. The pelvic floor is our structural foundation, often silently carrying the weight of stress, postural strain, and major life transitions. Whether you are preparing your body for birth, navigating bladder leaks and incontinence, experiencing pain with intimacy, experiencing discomfort in peri/post menopause or dealing with chronic hip and pelvic pain, traditional mechanical exercises often miss the mark by tightening already guarded muscles. A restorative approach gently releases fascial restrictions, restores optimal muscle length and tone, and realigns your core foundation.
Today, I bring these healing modalities together through a specialized Occupational Therapy lens. As an OT, I look at the whole person—recognizing that true physical healing cannot happen when the nervous system remains locked in chronic fight-or-flight. By integrating nervous system regulation with hands-on John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, we create the safety the body needs to let go of long-held bracing and pain patterns.
By addressing the nervous system, the fascial web throughout your body, and the pelvis, we can resolve the true root causes of discomfort so you can step out of survival mode and reclaim lasting vitality.
WHEN I AM NOT TREATING CLIENTS WITH THIS POWERFUL THERAPY, I ENJOY SPENDING TIME WITH MY AMAZING HUSBAND AND 4 BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN.
